The classic 1930 Austin Laundelette in Dove Grey and Black.

Herbert Austin founded his own motor company in 1922, it was called Austin of England. Austin quickly established a range of quality cars such as the seven, the A125 and the twenty, all were favoured by the upper and middle classes.

The most popular was the mass produced Austin Seven and later the A40, these cars brought motoring to the masses and was followed by a succession of other small cars (7, 8 and 10HP) selling alongside the larger saloon models. In 1952 the company merged with the Nuffield Group (Morris, MG, Wolseley and Riley) to form the British Motor Corporation (BMC), at the time one of the most successful car firms in the world.

Austin continued to grow its range of cars and commercials throughout the 50's and 60's, however by the beginning of the 1970s had become part of the British Leyland company.

The Austin Laundelette is a rarer classic and with its six seat capacity it is an ideal classic car for your wedding day, with striking features such as the graceful running boards, an open top and with huge front and side windows, the Laundelette offers great visibility and also provides shelter from the wind on the journey to and from your wedding location.
